Patient Information

For your convenience, patient appointments are not required from 8:00am, until 11:00am each weekday morning. However, afternoon hours are reserved for those patients with previously scheduled appointments.

Please bring all information regarding your insurance and medical history to your first office visit. New patients should arrive 30 minutes before their scheduled appointment so that medical history and other information can be recorded. Patients should bring medications at time of visit. Children should always be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

We will make every effort to keep your waiting time to a minimum. However, due to the nature of our specialty, patient emergencies may sometimes alter a physician’s schedule. We will advise you of any circumstances which may create a delay and will gladly reschedule your appointment if necessary. If you need to reschedule or cancel an appointment, please call 704-633-9441 or 800-570-9441 at least 48 hours in advance so we may give yours scheduled time to another patient

Insurance and Billing

Salisbury Urological Clinic is committed to providing the best possible care, while keeping expenses down. However, many factors determine the cost of medical care, such as the complexity of your problem and the tests that are needed. We request that full payment for all office visits, services, and related tests be made at the time services are rendered. Please remember that payment of medical services is your obligation and the agreement with your insurance company to pay medical costs is a contract between you and that company.

Insurance claims for office visits with a cost of $100 or more will be filed, as will most hospital surgical procedures. However, patient deductibles and co-payments must be paid at the time services are rendered. Please call 633-9441 with any questions you may have about our fees or insurance system.

We participate with most insurance programs. Please be sure to ask about your specific insurance plan. It is also important that you notify us immediately of any changes in your insurance coverage.

Emergencies and Prescriptions

Because we realize that illness doesn’t always occur during regular office hours, one of our physicians is always on call to help you. If your emergency occurs during regular office hours, please call and tell the receptionist the nature of your emergency and whether or not you are in pain. If the emergency occurs after business hours, please call Rowan Regional Medial Center at 704-210-5000 and ask for the urologist on call.

Since we must have access to our medical charts to prescribe medication, we cannot call in prescriptions at night or on the weekends, except for emergencies. If you have not been in our office six months prior to your request for a prescription refill, an office visit may be required.

Please review and fill out the necessary medical forms before your first appointment and give to our receptionist at check in:
